Safety limitation against Pressure Drop

Operation Principle
Hydraulic or pneumatic drive keeps the SITEMA Safety Lock open. The Safety Lock is initially not driven in order to prevent dropping the load. In case the load starts moving up and down, the locking system shuts down in a way that it self-empowers – heavier the load, higher the gripping force. This series allows for the high loads to be gripped by a compact unit, however, it is not compatible with extreme loads and impact forces (such as when braking the loads).
