Operation Principle
SITEMA Safety Locks are kept open with serially connected hydraulic and pneumatic drives and activates in case of a sudden drop in pressure. The locking system grips and fixes the load via pre-tensioned springs. With that, the tensioning strength minimizes wear and tear since it originates only from the load direction of the shaft. It uses the energy of the falling load to generate tightening force.
